Overview
Morehead Manor is a bed and breakfast in an 8,000-square-foot Colonial Revival home in Durham, North Carolina. The site opens on the arched front doorway, carries an editorial serif throughout, and guides guests from rooms to amenities, events and the city, with reservations always one step away.
What the design focuses on
- 01
Arrive at the door
The home page opens full-bleed on the manor's arched entrance, with Check Availability and Explore the Manor as the first two choices.
- 02
Let the house speak
Five rooms with private baths, a photo run of gardens, dining and common rooms, and marble-textured surfaces carry the character of the house.
- 03
One home base, many reasons
Amenities, events and weddings, and add-ons and packages are linked from a single section, so leisure guests and event planners both find their path.
- 04
Place it in the city
Walking distance to downtown, DPAC and the Durham Bulls, moments from Duke and RTP: the location is told as a reason to stay, ending with Reserve or Call the Inn.
Desktop experience
Rest, celebration and discovery: one section, with a path for each.

Mobile experience
Designed for the phone, not shrunk onto it.
The doorway holds on a phone, with Check Availability first.

Conversion
Every page leads somewhere.
Booking is never more than one step away: Check Availability in the opening, Explore the Guest Rooms in the rooms section, and a closing band that offers Reserve or a direct call to the inn.
